Tucked in the center of a shopping Mecca in downtown Carefree, known as Sundial Circle, sits one of the largest sundials in the western hemisphere. This steel and copper giant, standing 35 feet tall with a gnomon, the part that creates the shadow that stretches 75 feet, points to the North Star.
