Harold's Corral in Cave Creek
Folks, this just isn't a restaurant and bar. Harold's is a destination attraction. An institution since 1935. And it's usually the hangout place for the Cave Creek Fiesta Days Pro Rodeo. It is the place to be for tourists and locals alike. Great food, entertainment, music and having a dang' good time. This is a real cowboy and cowgirl venue where you can let your hair down, hitch your horse to a post and have a western time eating, dancing, drinking and enjoying live the entertainment.

This is no dink. Harold's has seating for 600 inside and 200 on its outside patio. Snuggle-up to 2 bars and a large stage. Jump on the huge dance floor, rock to live bands and even take dance lessons. If you are a Pittsburgh Steelers' Fan. this is the place to come watch the black and gold on big screen. Harold's schedules a whole bunch of exciting events all year long, many of which are charity-driven.
Harold's History From The Old Days
Harold's is the landmark "Wild West Saloon and Restaurant". It was opened in 1935 as the "Corral Bar" to serve the camp workers that were building Bartlett Dam. A local Cave Creek character, Harold Gavagan bought the Corral Bar in 1950 and renamed it Harold's Cave Creek Corral. Some crazy marketing gimmicks caged lions and like tigers on display enticed tourists.
From fledgling came dusty cowpokes, backgrounds for western movies, movie stars, and flamboyant characters. It became the Cave Creek hangout and a tourist attraction. The rest speaks for itself. With combined seating for over 800 folks, Harold's Corral became the biggest attraction of its kind in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area. It's in Cave Creek AZ and right next to Carefree, Arizona.
